You might read the title of the Lolë Women’s Cuddle Sweater and think this warm layer is only about snuggle-wuggling (snuggle-wuggling being something you mostly just do in the privacy of your own home). While this sweater does feel super soft and comfortable, the wide bottom hem, two-tone knit, and angled, button-up collar beg to be taken out to dinner or into town.
Love love love this sweater! I get compliments on it every time I wear it. It's super soft, cuddly, and the details add the extra bit of subtle flair I love my clothes to have. It's warm, looks good, and fits great. It's quite flattering. I pair it with smartwool shirt underneath for extra warmth, or an icebreaker tank if it's not too cold out.
This sweater feels substantial. I love the details like the front pocket and the buttons along the side of the neck. It's definitely higher quality than what you find in most department stores. I orginally bought a medium but it was quite big for my 5.7 frame (I have a long torso if that's any help). I returned it for a small which fits me perfectly. This sweater falls below the hip and the sleeves are quite long but don't fall past my palm.
The only downside is that the wool makes this sweater too itchy to wear without a long sleeved undershirt.
Funny, a previous reviewer said this sweater runs small. I found the opposite to be true. I bought a medium and it was too big. I am 5.7 and long waisted. The length of the top seemed right (falls just below the hip), however, the sleeves are too long and it is very roomy inside. It seems more like a large than a medium. I'll be returning this for a small.
