Description of Lolė Bay One-Piece Swimsuit - Women's:
The sporty Lolė Bay One-Piece Swimsuit features no-slip straps and princess seaming to flatter the figure. Wear the Bay One suit when you really just want to dive in for a swim and not fuss with what your bikinis doing. Because it isnt one.
I usually wear a Tyr suit for laps, but I thought I'd try something different. I ordered the Lolė in "chocolate." Now, I don't know what the color settings are on your monitor, but I could tell that this was more of a muddy brown than a rich chocolate color. But I could live with that. Really, I think a more accurate name would be "lentil." It's one of the least appealing green-brown shades I've seen in a while...great as cargo pants, but not exactly attractive in a swimsuit. Then, there are some fit issues: as another reviewer mentioned, there are some weird side/back panels that the straps attach to. Most irritating, though, is the soft cup bra (which wasn't mentioned in the product specs I read). The cups are kind of free-floating in the suit liner, so once you take off the suit, you have to tug and pull and unfold and tweak the cups to get them back in place. That's way more work than a basic one-piece oughtta be.
I'd like to start by saying that this is a very well-made suit and the material is nice. But for me, the cut is too modest, although I like a somewhat modest one-piece. The area that I didn't like is a side panel that connects to the back strap. I feel that it ruins what would be an otherwise attractive suit. All-in-all, a good suit if your looking for a modest one-piece.
My wife liked this suit a lot. They fit true to size and are very supportive overall. They don't fade quickly at all and have a well moving material. Good overall especially if you're trying to cover up a bit as it's a fairly modest suit.
