It's hard to gain street cred if you're skating in shitty shoes. The Lakai Kingston 2 Skate Shoes work hard to make you look good. The full-length shock-absorbing midsoles eat up impact so you don't have to gimp around on bruised heels, and the flexible cupsoles keep your feet agile. Lakai added a breathable mesh tongue and perforated the Action leather panels for ventilation (we never heard of anyone with sweaty feet getting street cred).

Seems thin on the sides fits nice 08-25-09

Not a whole lot of stuffing in the sides or tongue. If fits very nice though and still feels soft. Still wearing them in. Sole is a little stiff. I would buy another pair.
