The inner short uses a seamless chamois, Lycra fabric, and leg grippers for support, while the outer shell of the Ventura has Lycra inserts and an adjustable waist for riding comfort.
I agree with another review that they run a tad bit small, but I'm not sure if I would have needed to upgrade a whole size to make up for it. I love the double short option and even wore the outer shorts on their own a couple of times. I was worried I'd have to hand wash but I actually accidentally let them get washed in the machine and they came out fine.
I only wish it came in other colors so I could get another.
These shorts are seriously one of the best finds--ever. The liner and chamois are quite comfortable, no stitching in the wrong places if you know what I mean! The overshort is super cute and incredibly comfortable--and is so easy to wear just on it's own after you get where you're going on your bike. Wash and wear, quick dry...Wish I'd gotten about 3 more!
