Description of Louis Garneau Maxclime 2.5 Cycling Pant - Men's:
When your training ride or commute has to happen regardless of cats and dogs falling out of the sky, pull on the Louis Garneau Men’s Maxclime 2.5 Cycling Pants, and keep your legs dry. These pants feature windproof, waterproof breathable fabric that shelters you from the storm. Ankle zippers make getting these on over your shoes easy, and the drawstring waist allows for a comfy, secure fit.
Bottom Line: Watch out for claws and canine teeth—these durable pants are waterproof, but they’re not impervious.
I got these pants for commuting to just throw over my normal pants. Unfortunately they are cut very trim and only fit true to size over thin lycra shorts/tights. The other reviewer made them seem very baggy, but if you actually have the legs of a cyclist, you will find that they fit true to size or even a bit sung. I'm giving them 5 stars because they seem like top notch rain pants if you use them for their intended purpose. They are fully seam taped and have a very durable material that even has some stretch in the seat and lower legs. I may keep them for recreational rides in bad weather, but they are unfortunately not suitable for use over normal pants.
These pants fit super wierd. They are super tight in the lower legs and ultra big in the butt/hips area. I felt like I had to pull the larges up to my armpits so they wouldn't feel like parachutes. I'm 6' tall and 175 lbs. A medium would still fit over any clothing I was wearing underneath and would probably still be too big.
