Nice camp pad- but really large and heavy. At it's smallest roll, it's still about 8-10" in diameter. However, it is pretty cushy and comfortable. For it's full retail price, you can probably find a nicer pad (or get an aerobed.. it IS car camping after all), but if you can get it on SAC, it's worth it...
I absolutely LOVE this pad! Just like others have said, it's much too heavy for hiking but absolutely perfect for car camping. I think I may have slept better than I do at home and that NEVER happens for me when I'm camping. It's warm and cozy and I couldn't be happier. I got mine on SAC and they are the XL but I am actually quite happy it worked out that way. Get this!!
This pad rocks for car-camping! It's thick and your sleeping bag doesn't slip off it. I bought the XL and it's so wide and thick, all my friends have "pad" envy!!
Not made for hiking...perfect car camp pad or use it at home for a spare sleeping space!
