Description of Lafuma OS 26 Mesh Trail Running Shoe - Women's: |
Lafuma designed the Women’s OS 26 Mesh Shoe for fast, light trail and road runs. Lightweight, breathable, and supportive, these trail runners pamper your feet so you can focus on logging miles. Lafuma added hydrophobic heel and tongue foam to increase water repellency and quicken drying time and lined the heel and tongue with mesh to let your hooves breathe while you mountain-goat around. The OS 26 Shoes’ tempo lasts help counter off-balance foot placements, and the triple-density Trailshock midsoles support and cushion while you run.
Bottom Line: Tack five extra miles onto your trail run.

Love the color! 09-29-08

These shoes are so much fun! I have wanted shoes this color for years and as soon as I saw these I had to have them. They definitely get attention. I didn't give them a 5 because they have very little cushioning and I cannot imagine actually running in these. Also, the shoelaces are ridiculously long and drag on the ground. Other than that they are my new favorites!

i bought those shoes only for running in the trail because they are called "trail running shoe". you ca buy the exact same shoe but dark grey color called "low-profile soft shell hikers" wich it make sens just by looking a the shape and the support of the shoes. so i end up spending more thant $75CAN for absolutely nothing because of false publicity

The princess and the pea 07-29-09

I purchased these shoes looking for a lightweight trail running shoe to run on the many farm roads near my home. I am an avid trail runner and have owned many different shoes. Most my shoes are bulky and are great for running in the Alps, but are a bit too built up for running on rather smooth trail/ logging roads. Although I expected these shoes to be light weight, I did not expect them to have such thin soles. They provide almost no cushioning, so that even the smallest rock feels like a boulder! I don't mean to sound like the tale of the princess and the pea, but one would expect more out of a trail shoe. Although not a great trail running shoe, their lightweight mesh would be great for beach runs on packed sand. Unfortunately, I live in the middle of Bavaria, so beach running is not an option. They were true to size, but had the world's longest laces!
