Description of KUHL Jacquard Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's:
Button up the Kuhl Men’s Jacquard Shirt when it’s time to hit the town after a long day in the backcountry. This lightweight summer shirt keeps you looking good while the breathable blend of organic cotton and nylon dries in a flash on warm nights.
Bottom Line: Cool breathability for warm summer weather.
Very nice looking and comfortable shirt, that is until you wash it.
At 6'6", 240, I am very cautious with washing and drying my clothes (my poor wife). With that being said, almost all of my stuff is washed in cold water and hung dried, neither of which did me any good with this shirt. One washing and hang drying, and the shirt shrank so much that it is unwearable, at least by me. It shrank vertically so much that the bottom hem sits above my belt line.
Very disappointing and a waist of money.
I bought the blue version in XL. Sleeves are a tad longer and narrower than I like, but there is a fair amount of flex in the fabric to make up for it. There are no gimmicks (weird zippers or wicking foo foo) with this shirt. It looks like you are wearing a shirt made up of a vertical bar code pattern with a tribal vertical design accent down your left side. Everything on in the blue version is very simple and classy. Just the type of shirt mother would want you to wear in public without having to wear an "old guys rule or Tommy Bahama" shirt.
