Button up the Kühl Women's Namaste Short-Sleeve Shirt before offering oblations to the enlightened one. This attractive organic cotton button-up keeps you cool and lays lighter than a lotus petal. Kühl delicately embroidered the Namaste and gave it a Nehru collar to inspire simplicity and peace.
I saw this shirt and liked the styling so much that I was willing to pay a little more for it than I'd normally pay for a shirt of this type (this being back when it was being sold at the non-sale price). I got it in the aloe green color. In my case, the image that appeared on my monitor (G4 iMac running Firefox in OS 10.5) was pretty much spot on as far as the color went - no disappointment there. The photos on this site give an excellent representation of the shirt's actual appearance.
There have been only two real drawbacks for me when I finally got to wear the shirt. One was that the material was of a much lighter weight than I thought it'd be. While the shirt is nice and cool because of this, the somewhat flimsy weight of the fabric causes it to crease really quickly around the arm holes, as well as at the waist and on the back if I've been sitting down, so that after only about two or three hours of wear, the shirt looks like I've been wearing it a whole day - and a really rough day at that.
Secondly, I found that it runs somewhat small. So while the shirt fits, there is not nearly as much room in it to spare as I normally like to have. This is also, in large part, responsible for much of the first drawback.
On the plus side, I'd say the overall workmanship on this garment is rather good.
In summary, while I don't regret this purchase, I'd recommend this shirt to you if you are someone looking for a nice casual lightweight shirt for a hot day, but would also suggest you consider getting one in the next larger size than you normally get.
The color is quite a bit different than it looks like on my computer and it was not very fitted through the mid-section. A smaller size might have been better but the color was still a little too washed out for my taste.
