these shoes were exactly what i wanted, unfortunately the 7 1/2 was toe bumpin small and the 8 felt like a 9.

Not a Good Choice for Narrow Feet   04-18-08

I didn't want to return these, they were so comfortable. I ordered a half size larger than normal and my toes were bumping as I walked -- possibly because the shoe is too wide to hold my foot in place. They're really clunky looking -- they look much wider than the Targhee IIs -- so I can't imagine going up a full size. I could have lived with the width but I hate when my toes touch.
