I recently made a weekend trip up to Meiss Country near Tahoe. We chose a campsite right on a lake, but it wasn't cleared out very well. There were lots of tiny pebbles and jagged rocks below my footprint. It definitely protected my tent... I give it a 5 because I can't find any problems with it. Works as described...

I have only used my tent for a few weeks in the last 2 months...but from what I read, the footprint adds years of life and service to your tent. I saw it as a good investment for my tent, something I want to last.

I have always used a tarp under my tents (camping since 60's. The footprint made for my Kelty tent is great. Makes things so much easier when setting up, taking down and packing. This site is a really good place to shop.
