Description of Kavu Chilliwack Short - Men's: |
 |
From bouldering to bushwhacking, the Kavu Men's Chilliwack Shorts stand up to all your adventures. Made for the toughest outdoor activities, the sturdy FORCE 10 canvas material resists rips, stains, and wear. Pre-washed and broken-in to relieve stiffness and increase softness, these Kavu canvas shorts feel as soft as a flannel shirt. The built-in belt makes the Chilliwacks great to wear with a pack, and a gusseted inseam gives you the mobility to make dynamic moves on the rock.
Bottom Line: Are you tough enough for 'em?

| These shorts won't disappoint. 12-06-08 |

| These shorts should last you for a very long time. The material they're made of is relatively light-weight, and very durable. I have 2 pairs of these shorts, and they've been scraped on rocks, trees, and thorns multiple times without ripping at all. The built-in belt tends to tighten itself over time, and you'll have to readjust it, but that is the biggest problem I can think of. |

| Have worn these about a year now. Extremely durable - should last forever no matter what you put them through. Can't imagine them wearing thin or ripping short of taking a chainsaw to them. That being said, they are a bit heavy for my taste. Certainly good if you're going to be scaping against rock scrambling, bouldering or climbing, but they are a bit warmer. I use them for shorter hikes in cooler weather. I personally prefer the Kavu Chilli Lite short - same thing just lighter weight. These also fit a little big in the waist. I still ordered my usual size - just have to cinch the belt a bit more. Also, one the belt is worn in one position for a while, it becomes hard to adjust the webbing through the buckle. |

| The rear pocket design is great, however strange it may look. The construction is TOUGH, but not as uncomfortable as you'd think. Make sure you are aware that they have a short inseam, unlike many shorts these days. For me, function surpasses fashion, and these get a 5-rating. |
