The mid-fat Betty (117/80/105mm) has a wide enough tip to blast through a few inches of the fresh stuff and a narrow enough waist that you can quickly move from edge to edge. This is valuable when you need bomber edge grip for traversing uneven or crusty snow through the backcountry. The Betty Telemark Ski lays hard turns on groomers, but it has a progressive sidecut that's easy to release from turns. If you're an experienced alpine skier looking for new challenges in telemarking, the Betty is an all-mountain performer that will ease your transition.

This ski works like a champ. Great in slush and powder. Made skiing much more effortless than my previous skis (Tua and K2). Not very stable in icy/cascade cement, but you don't really want to ski in those condition anyway.
