K2 made sure the Women's Shuks Anne Alpine Touring Ski's versatile dimensions (122/80/108) and deep sidecut make for quick, light turns on spring tours where you could encounter corn on the south aspects and powder on north faces. Two sheets of metal laminated on the top of this backcountry ski's Bioflex core enhance the skis torsional rigidity so you can arc out high-speed turns on the corn. K2 puts a solid fir core underfoot to further increase stability, and spruce toward the ends for easy turn initiation. This construction gives the ski a split personality—stable at speed, yet nimble and light when making picture-perfect figure eights in the powder. Your skins will stay put on the way up thanks to a notch cut in the K2 Shuke Anne Skis’ tails.
