Description of K2 Cinch CTL Snowboard Binding:
In addition to being easy to get into, the K2 Cinch CTL Snowboard Binding features K2's Ergo-Cored Highback for powerful heel side response. This entry-level binding's highback provides forgiving side to side flex, but is still plenty stiff for carving heel side turns. The comfortable, supportive Cinch highback drops back on its hinge, which enables you to get in and out of it effortlessly. Adjust the forward lean on this highback with a simple lever. Padded, three-dimensional ankle and toe straps spread pressure evenly to avoid foot pain. Wear your toe strap around the front of your toes or on top of your foot.

Bottom Line: The K2 Cinch CTL Binding gives you ease of entry, and quick response at an easy-to-stomach price.

Awesome, despite some issues   01-04-07
BJ of Spokaloo, WA (2): rank
I just recently got this pair to replace last years S model, the cinch wire snapped. They don't look as cool as last years model though :( This binding is the best of both worlds with a cinch back and boot straps, and they are well balanced. AND! The quality & convenience is worth the cost. The materials are not cheap or shabby. A very solid binding. You won't be disappointed with this investment. I had a little bit of an issue with the cinch wire being too tight to close, but with a some adjusting they work AWESOME! In the time everyone else is still strapping in, you can be flying down the mountain!;) I HIGHLY recommend them:)

K2 Cinch versus Flow   03-28-07
Fouchtra (1): rank
I've tried both the K2 Cinch and the Flow bindings. I definitely like the Cinch better than the Flow. I find the Flow difficult to open. The ice gets caught in the mechanism and it's hard to open with the thumb alone. With the K2, you slide your index finger and pull the binding shut or open with much more ease because of the design of the mechanism. I've had cursing sessions with the Flow bindings trying to get in and out. Also, the K2 gives you the possibility to hold the boot around the toe like Burton bindings but they are so much easier to get in and out. I find it quite easy to close my bindings on the chair lift and I'm instantly ready to go when I reach the top.

This binding is a Cinch   12-18-06

The easiest binding since clicker, but much more compatible with all boots. I an ride a regular comfy boot and still have the ease of stepping in. I have been in the backcountry when it's hard to step in and all I had to do was use the straps normally and strap in with no problems, very user friendly.
