Great shoes with aggresive soles   05-11-07

I've tried a variety of Gore-Tex running shoes and the Inov-8's are by the lightest I've found. These are a little heavier than the Roclites but have a stiffer sole and more aggressive tread... which I like. Could use a more cushioning insole but overall an awesome shoe. I haven't really put their waterproofing to the test yet but will do so in Patagonia in July.

Extremely light - even compared to ASICS Kayano and New Balance 992's. Used them mainly on grass and some well worn trails. Excellent grip and kept my foot totally dry on wet grass. Very comfortable on cement as well (casual walking).
