i got this for myself & one of my friends. it's GREAT! it's thick, but not too thick, and it fits well. kept us warm the morning of our 5K run! i highly recommend this shirt! holds up well after a wash, too.
This shirt is comfortable and warm. Unfortunately I wouldn't use this for layering unless I had a smaller size. I always wear smalls but should definitely have gone XS with this shirt. Like I said, it's a comfortable shirt and that's what I wear it for, not its functionability.
