Description of Icebug MR BUGrip Shoe - Men's:
The Icebug Men's MR BUGrip Trail Running Shoe uses dynamic steel studs to grip ground like it's never been gripped before—whether you run in icy winters, steamy summers, or all year long. These studs absorb impact amazingly. When you apply weight to the shoe, the BUGrip studs recede into the rubber sole. The more weight you apply, the more the studs recede. On slick surfaces like ice, snow, and mud, they remain extended for better bite, and on asphalt and concrete, they sink in. On varied terrain, the studs work independently from each other and adapt accordingly to whatever appears underfoot. The MR BUGrip Shoe's PU coated nubuck uppers repel water, while their mesh linings manage moisture from within. Icebug added molded EVA midsoles with TPU stabilizers for cushioning and support. *Not for indoor use.

These shoes fit pretty good, the bottom is a bit raised, but felt like they would be alright for running. The metal studs sounded nice, but after trying to walk on a sidewalk and imagining what it would be like walking down the aisle of a grocery store, I decided to send them back. There's just not enough ice in Washington (or I'm not an avid enough runner) to warrant buying shoes with metal studs.

I'm at my full delight with these shoes, they make me stable at slippery roads and do excellent job on the others, i feel tight and comfortable, even the design is cool one!
