Ive been looking for a new snowboarding jacket for a while now and I think I have found it in this one. The cut of the jacket is slightly fitted, but not to the point where you can't wear layers underneath. The inner cuffs with the thumb holes are amazing and the sleeves are a bit longer (which I prefer),plus the light insulation is perfect for mild days. I have super broad shoulders and chest, and abnormally long arms so I went with the XL and its plenty baggy, which I wanted. I think their fitting true to size, I just opted to size up. My only hesitation is the white fabric, I get dirty very easily, hopefully it cleans well. The fabric on the shoulders is the only part to have the pattern that can be seen on the purple one, and its just as bright white as the jacket.
Bottom line, this jacket has lots of detailing and considerations for user comfort that I enjoy on and off the mountain. Cheers!
I ordered my jacket well before the northern winter will set in, so I can't comment on the warmth. I can say that it is a gorgeous jacket, and a fraction of the price you would pay retail.
I find it fits big, so could have purchased a medium to have it a little more fitted, but the large is not overly big.
I'm very happy with my purchase, and will comment on the warmth once the cold weather sets in.
