Open up the side pockets for easy-access to energy food, as well as a little relief when you warm up—the side pockets double as vents. The Kevlar’s high collar, waterproof front zipper, and Gel-Gripper waist add more lines of defense against the wet and cold, and reflective piping fends off the traffic.
I was expecting this to be a thicker jacket, but its about the thickness of a normal lined LS jersey. High 30's low 40s is almost too warm for this Jacket when wearing just a SS jersey beneath. Sizing is just a tad smaller then Louis Garneuas stuff. I'm a 150lb 5'10 roadie and a small is doable, but a little more room would be welcomed. Gripes about the jacket are the pockets. The rear pocket doubles as a vent for the rear, and is mounted a bit too high to easily unzip while riding. The front pockets are actually vents that go towards the back. Not really good for holding anything except for empty gel/bar wrappers. Will be really nice for winter riding.
