This softshell’s waterproof breathable Cocona fabric wicks moisture from inside the jacket and uses activated charcoal to speed evaporation on the surface—in other words, the Flanders Jacket practically vacuums perspiration away from your body and releases it into the air. Cocona fabric blocks 98% of the sun’s UV rays, earning it a 50+ UPF rating. Hincapie taped the seams of this cycling shell to stop leaks, added reflective strips to give motorists a heads up during night rides, and included underarm zippered vents for A/C during steep hill climbs.
