Description of Hestra Seth Morrison Pro Model Glove : |
 |
Designed by the man himself, The Hestra Seth Morrison Pro Glove was designed by the freeride master himself. These gloves keep your hands warm and dry on steep chutes or in deep pow. Seth gave these moto-inspired freeride gloves waterproof breathable Cordura stretch fabric to keep you dry without sacrificing digital dexterity. Waterproof leather with enforced seams and knuckle guards add durability when bashing through tight trees, and Thermolite insulation keeps fingers toasty on long chairlift rides. Seth's signature on the short cuffs reminds you to shred hard.
Bottom Line: Look down at your sick Hestra gloves and be inspired by Seth Morrison to go big.

| This is the last you'll see these gloves. My first glove with Hestra, we created a sleek all season offering. I have heard complaints about it being to thin, but for me I never had a problem with this. From the sub zero temps of CO in December to the peaks of Haines, AK in April I found it to be great for all temps. Its insulated with a Czone insert that acts as a wind barrier that breaths, like Gore Tex. This glove is lower on the wrist and should be worn under the wrist of the jacket. The last gloves I had, had one goggle wipe on one finger of the set, where as before it was on both. Slight padding on top of hand and fingers for protection. The reverse stitching gives a great feel on the hand unlike anything else other than Hestra. Be sure to use the waterproofing wax that comes with the gloves. It seals and waterproofs, makes a noticeable difference when this is done, warmer and drier. Redo as necessary. As stated if they are tight they will stretch out, its leather! Get them while they last. |

| Buy these beasts. They are super light and super warm. And if you treat them with the waterproof stuff that comes with them they are waterproof unless its pouring rain. My hands always get cold but with these they stay warm, and sometimes too hot in the spring. |

| I was told that Hestra made the best gloves available, and now I concur. Even though I'm a snowboarder, I went with the Seth Morrison's for several reasons. I wanted a low volume glove, with dexterity enough to handle switching bindings on my split board. They needed to be full leather, waterproof and warm to boot. Not many gloves fit the bill, but these have exceeded my expectations. I can't verify super cold temps, I've only tested them down to 10degF, but I have worn them above 30F, and my hands didn't sweat, and they were very waterproof in relatively wet conditions. I was concerned at first about them being too small, but after applying the supplied leather conditioner, and wearing them one day, they softened up and fit perfectly. However, I noticed the palm is pretty narrow, I don't have bear paws, so you may want a larger size if you do. I plan on using these for ice climbing as well, since the knuckles have some decent padding, and the grip/feel is outstanding. Btw, the finger squeegee works great too. |
