This review is just based on the shower test and my initial thoughts. 1. Passed the shower test with flying colors. All the seams were sealed well and there was no soaking. To be expected on a brand new jacket. 2. When I pulled out this jacket from its neatly packaged plastic I immediately noticed how light it was. The jacket looks great. The zippers look excellent and the hood is a good size but might be a tad snug with a helmet. This jacket was meant to be light. The pockets are simple mesh. This jacket does include two internal water bottle pockets. I am 6'2 200 and they XL is great for layering. If I planned on using this as a summer rain jacket I would have sized down to the large. The core vents work well. I will post another review once this gets more use.
Awesome jacket. I use it for snowboarding, backpacking, and trekking around the city during a cold windy, rainy, or snowy storm. It is easy to stuff, light weight, and water proof. Everything I wanted in a shell. I am 6’1” 180 lb with a 42-44” chest. The large fits great.
