Just reiterating previous reviews. The soles delaminate after only a week or two of use. Extremely disappointing for a trail shoe that costs over $140. The company should have issued a recall. Well, the company never should have allowed such a product fto make it out of the testing room door. I'll definitely never trust GoLite products again... PS I didn't even buy the shoes from Backcountry.com but saw the need to warn anyone foolish enough to buy these shoes. Send me your money if you want to just throuw it away

I have had several models of the Golite. Got these in Feb. of 08. Initially, seemed pretty good walking and jogging around the town. Decided to use them for my primary approach and tramping shoe in NZ this past March. Mistake. Okay on mild tracks but after a week the treads started to de-laminate but still serviceable.
Then on a long approach for a peak climb they were too tippy on no slope talus and rubble, say compared to what I usually would wear....a montrail or vasque. I relegated them to my pack, to pad my coffee press, for the hike out in alpine boots.
