Description of GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt - Women's:
GoLite gave the Women's Calamity Jane Skirt built-in stretch liner shorts to give you a skirt look without any of the drawbacks. Now you can hit the trail in total comfort, whether you go on a backpacking trip or trail run. The quick-drying polyester material allows the GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt to wick moisture from your body and keep you dry during your outing. This skort also includes an internal pocket to hold your car keys.
Bottom Line: Can't decide between shorts or a skirt for your day outdoors? Choose both and wear the GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt.
The GoLite Calamity Jane Skirt is definitely a short skirt - only about an inch or two longer than the shorts, but I've loved it ever since I got used to running it a short skirt. The inner shorts do ride up every once in a while when running/hiking, but it's not much. I found the skirt very flattering and incredibly cool when it's hot out.
I'm not sure I can go back to running in shorts now...
This skirt is def. like running in a mini skirt. Out of the bag, it's a little static-y and not super flattering, after running for a bit it seems to mellow out. As I mentioned in an answer to a question below, the built in shorts do seem to ride/roll up if you're doing anything besides running, which makes this skirt not ideal for the gym. I'll still keep wearing it because it is flirty and functional when running, but there's definitely some room for improvement.
