I bought these off of whiskey militia. Good price. Shipped fast. They are good for walking and casual work.
Not good for skateboarding. I went out longboarding with these last night - lots of heel roll. Not enough cushioning. Would probably get thrashed quick if you were to do tricks.
Not only do these shoes have amazing grip they are super comfortable and not all that stiff compared to some DC shoes I had. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. I have the brown pair and they look sick. I truly like the elastic connected to the tongue. I could not be happier with my purchase.
I have only had these for a week or so now, but I like them a lot so far. This is my first pair of Globe shoes, so I can't really use these as a basis of comparison. Usually wear DVS, Sanuk, etc. They are extremely comfortable, and seem to breathe really well due to the mesh construction. The one thing you may take into consideration is that of the coloring. I ordered the black/bruise, and although they look pretty red in the pictures, they're more like a maroon color. This isn't a bad thing however, just not what I thought when I ordered them. I don't do any wakekating or anything, but they have small drain holes near the soles that would be idea for draining any water. All in all, I really like these shoes, very comfortable and nice looking.
