The Globe Men's Paul Machnau Saxon Shoe recalls an historic era. The Saxons invaded England in the fifth century A.D., bringing with them Germanic beer and skateboarding. Heavy-duty full grain leather and heavyweight BGT stitching in the upper withstand the medieval abuse that typifies Saxonian history. When those Sax-dogs would skate, they relied on the ultra-resilient full-length diecut EVA cushioning system for support and comfort, as well as the vulcanized rubber soles with extra sidewall thickness for grip and durability.
