A TPR heel stabilizer helps prevent ankle rolls, and the triple-stitched, triple-layer toe cap, ollie reinforcement, and extra-thick sidewalls won't get thrashed by grip. | Awesome shoes just got my second pair black cobalt to replace the white leather ones I still skate. Durable padded out and fat wide gangsta. Don't think I ever bought the same shoe twice so just know these are killer kicks. |

| Too Snug in the Toes 03-28-09 |

| These shoes are way too snug for my toes. I wear 8 US and ordered size 8's in the Fusions. The toe box is too snug and had too little room. By the end of the day there was a hot-spot on my pinky toe. The shoes themselves were comfy but the midsole did not provide much support. The upper materials are decent but the insoles are quite plain. The tongue and collar are connected to each other, so you don't have to tie your lacing to prevent your feet from slipping out. Overall these shoes would've better if they fit a little bigger. Next I'll definitely have to order 8.5 at the least. I actually went ahead and ordered a shoe-stretcher on Ebay (which I'm currently still waiting for). Maybe Backcountry should throw on of those stretchers free of charge with these shoes. |

| Globe has been my skate shoe company of choice for 10 years or so, and it's because of shoes like these. Quality construction, comfortable and not bad looking are definite pluses. If you do buy these shoes remember that the padded sock liner design causes them to fit a little snug, I suggest buying 1/2 or 1 size bigger than you might normally. I generally wear 8.5 but bought 9.0 and they fit great. |
