G3 Genuine Guide Gear was started with one great product—a functional, tough avalanche probe. They have continued to produce innovative gear for the backcountry. This Canadian company has gone on to develop some of the world’s most trusted telemark bindings, climbing skins, shovels, and probes. Now you can mount your favorite G3 bindings onto a pair of new G3 skis. Their new skis, as with all G3 goods, are designed to excel in even the harshest conditions.

Description of G3 Ticket Ski:
The G3 Ticket Ski has a unique asymmetrical sidecut to increase response in tight spots and lay down smooth arcs in wide-open bowls. The Ticket is built for both telemark and AT skiing, making it an extremely versatile addition to your backcountry arsenal. The outside edges of this G3 ski have a tighter sidecut than the downhill edges, providing better response as both skis track along the same arc more easily. The Ticket also has a combination sandwich and cap construction to increase durability without increasing weight. Whether you're charging steep technical terrain or dropping a knee in the pow, this G3 ski helps you take control.

Bottom Line: Step up to the G3 booth and get your ticket to the steep and the deep.

Fun Carving ski in hard pack conditions   12-16-06
Garrett Grove (228): rank
Skis well on groomed - like a cruiser it is very comfortable and predictable to use. Cuts and busts up crud well. It's a fun, mid-speed carving ski that seems to like to dodge, dart, and play. Great for ski mountaineering or icy descents.

Closest thing to a one ski quiver around!   12-18-06
Ed Peters (Merritt BC) (3): rank
These are the snappiest most responsive all around ski I've ever been on. They charge in everything from boilerplate to champagne powder. They take some effort to really control so they aren't that well suited to the lighter folks. For a fatter option the Rapid Transits are equally great.

Great All-Around Tele Ski!   02-10-08
tongaroo (9): rank
The Ticket's are my go-to tele ski 90% of the time. They're remarkably light for BC use, fat enough for powder, and really responsive and "snappy". The turn radius seems to favor faster, GS-type turns over short, slalom turns, but they WILL initiate turns quickly if you force it (might be the asymmetrical shape). I find I can make random shaped turns more easily with this ski than any other I own, so I love it in the trees. They're just plain fun, and without sounding too cheesy, you can really express yourself with these skis!
