Description of Garmont Mega-Star Alpine Touring Ski Boot - Women's: |
Step into the Garmont Women's Mega-Star Alpine Touring Boot and prepare for feather-light tours, awesome freeride strength, and a tried-and-true women's-specific fit. The G Fit3W Thermoformable liner incorporates multiple foam densities with a reinforced tongue and double-injected cuff for serious support and responsiveness that remains lightweight. The Mega-Star surrounds its comfortable fit with the strength of a multi-injected Pebax shell reinforced with four ultra-light magnesium buckles and a Power Strap, adding to the versatility and durability of Garmont's newest women's-specific, lightweight four-buckle ski-mountaineering boot. Lock the Mega-Star into either your Dynafit or AT bindings and start climbing. NOTE: Be sure to check out our sizing chart for optimal fit.

| Great for Touring, Fair for Charging 10-22-09 |

| These boots are killer for touring fast - you can't get lighter, and they are surprisingly strong for the weight - I ice climb in them, too. They are a little light for really pushing hard if you ask me, but then again, they are billed as boots meant for long tours. If you charge really hard, get a stiffer boot and sacrifice weight. Fit is true to size and works well for my wide forefoot, narrow heel, with Superfeet insoles and a couple rounds of thermo-fitting at the shop. |

| Got these boots for my girlfriends first AT setup. These boots lean stronger to touring, but have held up well to resort abuse. Definitely need to get these heat molded though, don't even try them without! |
