Just enough padding to make riding more comfortable, without feeling like a diaper. These are very stylish shorts. I normally wear size small, but these shorts in small are pretty lose around the waist.
Comfortable to ride in. Adequate padding while riding, although it felt bulky when walking around in them. Sizing runs big. I'm normally a size 6, but according to the waist on the size chart, I ordered a large and had to exchange for a medium. The mediums still require a good cinching with the velcro on the waist, but at least the velcro is there!
These shorts in a size small fit me really well (I'm usually a 4-6) but why can't Fox put some stretch in the fabric? They're bike shorts for pity's sake! I'd buy ten of these if they were actually comfortable to ride in, because they look so cool.
