4FRNT Skis STL Alpine Ski
4FRNT Skis was founded in 2002 by a group of athletes looking to make skis that push the progression of backcountry, park and pipe skiing. As one of the first small new-school ski companies to break into the mainstream of the ski industry, 4FRNT has never strayed from their initial goals. Pro skiers Vincent Dorion, Niklas Karlstrom, Steele Spence and Matt Sterbenz own 4FRNT, and these guys also develop and test the skis. Look for Niklas and Steele to take 4FRNT to the top of park and pipe podiums throughout the season.

Description of 4FRNT Skis STL Alpine Ski:
When you hear the name Steele Spence, your mind has visions of super-long kinked rails and epic jibbing sessions. Over the past few years, Steele has helped take urban rail sliding to new heights and racked up some impressive competitive results at the same time. The 4FRNT STL enables Steele to continuously crush his own high marks, thanks to its nearly non-existent swing weight and a ride that's as smooth going forward as it is skiing switch. The maple-and-aspen core provides the freestyle-tuned flex and solid feel underfoot that are crucial for sticking rails and stomping spin moves. Steele designs his own graphics for the STL, so there's a little bit of Mr. Spence in every pair.

Bottom Line: The 4FRNT STL lets you stomp and spin with the Man of Steele.

These ski's are sooo bomb proof. they are super stable at high speeds, no chatter. They kill the park, and the rest of the mountain. super fun to cruise groomers.

Good ski by 4FRNT. Handles the groomers, and the choppy stuffy great and it kills it in the park. Not recommended for pow. Thats what the fattys are for. I have experienced some top sheet wear and tear. Scratching and chipping. That would be my only gripe about the ski. But it rides excellent.

Alright, Not the greatest.   04-04-09

The more dramatic sidecut and stability of the STL made the ski very popular when it came to riding all-mountain. I found it to be a bit heavy for park riding, though, so this one is best suited for shredding everywhere and is not a park-specific tool like some of the other park skis on the market.
