An 8K waterproof rating and fully taped seams keep the snow and rain out in mild to moderate storms. When you're pointing it through trees the last thing you need is cold snow spraying up your back, so Foursquare included a waist gaiter to stop blasts of powder from soaking you. When your riding heats up, unzip the pitzips to cool off, or remove the hood.

I bought this jacket and I have to say I love it, great value, very warm and although I've been the brunt of a few jokes about me looking like a fireman, I've generally had a lot of compliments about it. On the down side I've just had to return it as one of the popper type buttons fell off. I've asked for a replacement so lets hope it was a one off.
