The Pink color is VERY bright and looks awesome on the snow. I am a size 4 and I ordered a size small b/c they didn't have a med. It fits well without the inner jacket - pretty snug with the inner jacket. (I suggest ordering a size bigger than you think) All the pockets are perfect for storing all my stuff. This is a truly great jacket!
for a cold day. i usually wear a shell with a layer or two underneath, but on those really cold days with the wind blowing making it even colder, i'd add a hoodie to my layering. the foursquare vern jacket eliminates that bulky layer with the removable down jacket inside. it's not bulky and you can't tell you're wearing it under the shell. there have been days i wore this without bothering to layer underneath because it's so convenient. i don't really wear the down puffy by itself for anything, but on warmer days i unsnap it and just rock the shell. it's awesome to have so many options.
