Description of Forum Recon Snowboard:
The Forum Recon Snowboard is an excellent all-around board at a price that a) won't ruin your bank account and b) makes those late-season core shots less devastating. Forum combined a Compound Matrix core with bi-axial laminate construction to create a soft-flexing board that turns without a fight. The tail of this slightly directional snowboard is slightly stiffer than the nose, which adds stability on landings.

Bottom Line: The Forum Recon Snowboard. Fun to ride and fun to wreck.

i like the board, great value. but it's a bit too stiff for me, i like by boards a little bit flexier. besides the flex, everything is perfect.

I ride this board on back country in Western Alaska (Nome) in and on all kinds of snow from hard pack ice to 4 foot deep pow, many time on the same run, and this board handles well in all conditions. Responds amazingly well when conditions are inconsistent and handles well when you feel like dropping a cornice and racing out an avalanche. Way impressed.
