Designed for cycling but ready for more, the Endura Crosstrack Jacket is a waterproof, breathable, wet-weather multitool. The Crosstrack has harsh weather dialed, with a stowable hood, fully-taped seams and water-resistant zippers throughout. The inner mesh lining and rear flap vent fend off the stifling effect of rain slickers, while the drop seat, raglan shoulder profile, and extended sleeves make it cycle-friendly. Multiple front and rear stow pockets keep you organized whether in the saddle or out.

Very good value that could use some minor improvements 12-10-08
I commute to work so I like to have an all purpose jacket that is waterproof but breathes well. I've been doing this for a while so I have owned multiple jackets. I've owned a Gill, Louis Garneau and now this Endura. First thing I will say is that the color in the picture is way off. The jacket is a brighter red than you see. The next good thing is that the jacket is very waterproof and will keep the water out. There are a few improvements I would like to see. First, I would like the bill on the hood extended so that when you ride in the rain it keeps water out of your eyes. The current bill is too short. A two way zipper would also be helpful since the jacket is a bit long and it can bind. The last thing I would like to see is some sort of front vent similar to the rear vent to improve the ventilation. This jacket comes very close to being the ideal rain jacket. The LG jacket I had before this one had most of the features I want in a commuter jacke, just the long bill on the hood was missing, but it lost it's waterproofness somewhat quickly and is now discontinued. So this jacket is the next best jacket I have found.
The Endura Crosstrack Jacket showed up at my door today, and I am enormously pleased. I was bracing for the thinner and/or bare basic offerings of other rain jackets that have cruised through here, but Endura once again proved mainstream gear from the UK is generally more stout and has design features driven by strict function.
Testing will commence all too soon. But hey, I will be on the bike; my two wheeled prozac.
