The Lange Exclusive 100 FR Ski Boot adds freeride features to the high-performance, women’s-specific Exclusive 100 design. Lange is the race reference for traditional-overlap boots, so you know that performance is not a problem. On the comfort side, the down-insulated Warm Inside liner and slightly wider 100mm last takes cold-foot complaints out back for a spanking. On the off-piste side, a 45mm Flex Interceptor power strap keeps the cuff locked to your shin through rough terrain, reducing shin bang and fatigue. A freeride-specific boot board dampens vibration on hardpack, takes the edge off of flat landings, and smoothes out your ride all day long.
Bottom Line: Legendary Lange performance for lady rippers of the freeski persuasion.
I bought these for the 09/10 season. I haven't taken them on the slopes yet, but they are by far the most comfortable boot I've tried. Will review again after a month or so of use. They fit my narrow feet like a glove and can't feel any pressure points while playing with them around the house.
I had these boots custom fit to my feet after a tough season in my old boots. The first 1week to 2weeks they were absolutely amazing.
Shortly after, I started growing a 6th toe on both feet...and my ankle bone has nearly tripled in size. Hence after about 45+ days in these boots this year (and 3 custom foot beds, grinds, and pushes to the boot) I will be needing surgery to reduce the size of my bone growths for next season. I truly hope it doesn't end my alpining career. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
