Cold weather climbing can be a bitch, so luckily this insulated piece does an awesome job at holding the warmth in. An athletic cut means less space and material for your body to spend energy heating, so you can stay out in the cold longer. Ripstop nylon creates rugged durability and an included compression sack packs the Gorihorn away nicely in a small corner of your pack.
I eagerly anticipated receiving this jacket -- I had searched a long time for a lightweight, waterproof belay-type jacket that could also serve as a layer beneath a waterproof shell.
The Dynafit Gorihorn looked the part, but I immediately found a defect: The front pocket stitching was so poorly constructed that I could not raise my left arm while wearing the jacket! The stitching defet almost caused the sleeve to tear at the shoulder.
The fit also wasn't right for this type of jacket -- the waistcut and the arms were too short, causing it to rise up in the back if I reached for anything.
Sadly, I returned the jacket.

Alright, I bought this thing from tramdock, and stole it for 70 bucks. After having worn it for a while, it's still a great deal at 120, and might be worth it at 199 (though I'd never be able to justify it with student income).
When I got the box, I was really excited... as I've got a Nomis Touch jacket, and it's just a shell. I'd been wearing normal sweaters underneath it, which isn't ideal. Opened up the box, and was immediately very worried. The thing felt so thin and light, I considered sending it back. I ended up trusting the Primaloft hype, and threw it on and went outside. This thing is amazing! It is very, very warm. Combined with the shell, I am toasty no matter what.
Fit is fantastic. I'm 5'11 and 160 pounds. I usually wear a medium in everything... and this medium fit perfect. It's a slim fit, but not at all restrictive. Perfect for wearing under my shell. Wish it had pit zips, otherwise perfect!
