The Descente Men’s Element Jacket uses three-layer Tri Comp to banish water, ventilate your core, and stretch with your movements as you ride. This jacket’s long, tapered sleeves won’t turn into windsocks when you turn into the gale, and the vented back, vented sleeves, and full front zip provide climate control that’s borderline ridiculous. A draft flap makes cycling on windy days slightly less miserable, and plenty of reflective details increase your safety factor after the sun sets.

Bottom Line: Bring on the bad weather.

have not fully tested yet but I got a size M (6' tall 180lbs) and the fit is nice and slim so in a windy nasty day the jacket will not turn into a sail. water and wind stays out nicely. be advised it is not thermal at all and with the slim fit it may be hard to get layers in under it unless you order one size up. great soft shell style rain jacket!
