Description of DC Caliber Snowboard Boot - Men's: |
 |
Who needs three pairs of boots to destroy every terrain imaginable? The DC Men’s Caliber Snowboard Boot with the Rapid Lace System does it all so you can save cash for lift tickets. Simply tighten the laces for maximum all-mountain support, or leave them slightly loose for park versatility. The Double Lasted Midsole puts your foot closer to the board (better board feel) without sacrificing cushioning. A heel Airbag absorbs shocks to make sure you don’t get broke off even if you land on the knuckle. DC’s Command liner has more hi-tech features than we can list, and works with the ergonomic 3-D Tongue to keep your foot and ankle supported, cushioned, and in place.
Bottom Line: A tough DC boot for the shredder that never stops exploring.

| These boots work pretty good. But i took out the lining, and some of the stichings on the inside are pretty shotty. They fit good though and operate well, (just walking that is). Haven't snowboarded in them yet, but i'm not worried about them falling apart. Boots are boots though; as long as my feet are warm and dry, I'm happy. |

| Good, the bad, and the Velcro 06-03-09 |

| Picked these boots up late this season after dismantling the sole of my Burton Sabbaths on my snowmobile rails. First off they are tough, I have yet to see my soles start to peel from the snowmobile, strapped in to the board, I get the proper flex and response. Took a good three days or so to break them in proper, but now they feel pretty solid. I've got flat feet so generally boots kill me beginning of the day, not so with the Caliber. What sucks is trying to get them off. The internal lacing system is pretty wack and I tend to have to wrestle to get them off. That and the stupid Velcro strap on the toe gets filled with snow when hiking so it refuses to stay close by end of the day. Pretty rad for the deal I paid on them though.. |

| Ok...so i said that those j bars arent comfy...well now...the boot feels pretty wicked. I guess its broken in a bit...its got a nice stiffness to it as well. Quick lace system takes some getting use to...but once u get the hang of it...its pretty good..so i revise my rating 5/5! |
