To prove how durable the DC Men's Tempo Skate Shoe is, we took one of those Ginseng knifes to it… Unfortunately, the knife cut right through. So don't try that at home. But if it's just grip tape and pavement you're dealing with, then you got no worries—DC made these shoes to stand up to years of abuse. Action leather uppers resist abrasion and DC's signature pill pattern rubber outsole stays sticky for ages. To handle big drops, the Tempo shoes feature a foam-padded tongue and collar for support and a Performalite PU midsole with a heel airbag for shock-absorption.

Bottom Line: Skate shoe that'll see you through a few decks.

This is a beastly skate shoe. Though it's very uncomfortable for the first couple days of wearing it, once u wear it in it kicks ass. Not very good for feeling the board like Vans, the bottom is stiff, but durable so far.
