There are two really cool things about the DC Otish Bottoms. First, they fit like sweatpants. Second, they’re made from 100% Merino wool, which performs better than any synthetic we know of. Maybe you were expecting us to say something totally off the wall, or make fun of the name Otish because we can’t figure out what it means. Well, sorry—they’re just really nice Merino base layer pants, and they kind of rule without our help. Get over it.

| Overall, I like these. The quality seems very good and is comparable to my Icebreaker tops. They do seem a little thin for a midweight insulator. Unfortunately, the mountain weather has been pretty warm this season so I haven't had the opportunity to test these too much on colder days. These puppies are baggy, though. I thought I would like this, but I found that the baggy material tends to tangle with my pant shells and the bottoms twist at the crotch, thighs, and knees. Also, you have to take a little extra caution to make sure you don't get extra legging in your boots that crumples up and eventually causes discomfort. One other note, I'm 6'1" with a 32" waist, and I ordered the medium. They are still really long in the legs(?!), but perfect at the hips. Net-net, if you don't want a spandex tight pair of bottoms, these fit the bill. If you're used to your bottoms being like tights, you will probably want to find another product. |

| great price on a merino wool piece. They are a bit baggy for the most part, but are tight (not in an uncomfortable way) on my calves. I agree that this piece runs a little long. I have the Monogram/Black ones, and my wife makes fun of me when strutting around the house in them, but what does she know? They look awesome! |
