While DC styled the Women’s Morton Wool Jacket like something a guard may wear at a military base in the winter, it also used high-end fabrics to keep you stoked while you rip. ExoTek wool fabric and fully taped seams ensure you don’t feel a speck of moisture, and a removable faux rabbit fur liner adds an extra helping of warmth for frigid days. DC made both the hood and powder skirt removable, so you can easily wear the Morton Wool Jacket around town during the winter.
I just got my DC Morton Wool in Oak and really like it. There's still time before temperatures hit low enough for me to wear it, but can already say this jacket is warm, while reasonably light. The oak appears black on the picture but it is a deep dark chocolate brown and the little light colored patches provide nice contrast. It most certainly appears military'ish but not too overly so ... I'm 5'8" and about 140 lbs and the medium fits beautifully, although I still have to try it with a medium-weight shirt to make sure it will accomodate that comfortably.
