As the most technologically advanced women’s boot in the DC line, the Mora Snowboard Boot easily handles the steepest of the steep and the biggest drops you can picture yourself hucking. A BOA lacing system gets you locked in with a quick twist, and it lets you tighten the upper and lower separately for a precise, comfortable fit. The Mora Snowboard Boot even includes an Inflatable Air Bladder liner to completely eliminate pressure points and mold exactly to your foot.
The DC Mora runs very short (25cm for a size 8.5) and I had to go up a full size to get the length I usually get in a 7.5. Tons of heel slip and pressure points on the inside and outside of the ankle and when I finally got my size 8.5's (after trying and returning 7.5's and 8's), the air pumps didn't work - i didn't find that out til I got to the mountain and could keep my heel down. If you have wide, short feet - this is probably a good boot. The BOA system is great but didn't work for me.
I wear a size 8.5-9 shoe and bought these boots in a 10. They were too big so I ordered a 9.5 which are great. My old boots (brand to be unnamed) were a 10 and would always put my feet to sleep and give me cramps. These boots are great because the boa is amazing to tighten and the two zones. My feet always feel tight, I probably could have gone with the 9 in hopes they would pack out, but I opted for no toe squeezing, but I do feel the pumps do not work as well as I had hoped. Still an awesome boot, I wouldnt go with anything else.
These boots do run very short, I wear a 6 shoe and had to get this boot in 7. Once I had the proper size though, i love this boot. The toe box is very roomy, perfect for wide feet, for the first time I'm able to not only move my toes, but do not fall asleep within 10 minutes of putting on my boots.
The dual boa system is great and makes for easy adjustments while on the mountain.
The backs are nice and low and flexible so if you're short there is none of the dreaded calf burn
