Description of DC Balance Snowboard Boot - Men's: |
 |
DC designed the DC Men's Balance Snowboard Boot with a molded EVA midsole to reduce weight and bulk, and to enhance board feel. The Balance Boot features DC's Command liner, which supports your foot and ankle on downhill charges with lightweight support beams and J bars but won't restrict necessary flexing when you session a rail. Directional fiber lining lets the foot slide easily into the boot and then holds it in place like a zip-tie holds a ratchet. This results in less heel lift and better power transfer. DC gave this medium-flex boot dual lace loops to maintain tight lacing, even into the boot's old age.
Bottom Line: The DC Balance Snowboard Boots feel like your favorite DC skate shoes but don't balk at massive park kickers.

| THESE SUCK! 04-07-09 |

| these just suck, too thin and hard on the top of the foot, and that means that by the 3rd run, the top of your foot is screaming in pain...theres flexing bars on the sides of the boot and those dig into your ankle, and once again, your foot is screamin in pain, pain so bad that you cant walk the next day, im not exagerating (not too much)...it might be just my foot...i thought these problems would go away after some time to break em in, but halfway through the season i needed to drop the hammer and say the TRUTH!...and in line with other reviews, heel slip is awful and can rip up some skin, these just arent good boots...your going to end up dreading having to wear them...keep ur eyes peeled to brociety.com to look for some real quality boots |

| been rockin' these for about 70-80 days and the only thing i can complain about is they haven't packed out. the fit is still just as snug as it was when i bought them, which means i shouldn't have gone down a half size. otherwise they've got a great flex for killing it all over the mountain, bomber construction, and nice heel hold. i'm looking at buying another pair, just a little bigger. |

| great boots for the price! 05-01-09 |

| bought these boots for $200 at the beginning of last season. i used them for 25+ riding days last season, and im really pleased with these boots! they have heaps of ankle support (i broke mine the season before and wasn't sure i could ride). i had a pair of burtons i spent the same amount of $$ on, and these don't even compare.
they're not top of the line boots (they don't have the air bladder and all that jazz), but if you're looking for a basic boot you will be pleased with these.
i'd recommend ordering 1/2 a size up, especially if you're going to wear heavier socks. i wear a 9 and got a 9 1/2 and they fit great. |
