Description of DC Allegiance Snowboard Boot - Men's:
It's no secret that comfortable riders are better riders. With that in mind, DC pulled out all the stops with the Men's Allegiance Snowboard Boot. DC constructed this super stiff all-mountain boot with the BOA Focus System. This setup one-ups standard BOA lacing by giving you two tightening zones to distribute upper and lower pressure evenly and create more heel hold-down than the typical boot. Pair Boa Focus lacing with the ankle-supporting adjustable air bladder inside the new Bravo liner, and you have the recipe for a high-performance boot. A lightweight EVA midsole takes the shock out of hard landings, and the boot's new exoskeleton adds burliness.
Bottom Line: Reward your feet for their loyalty.

I love these boots. I've had the ion, the hail and f20. This boot beats them all. It the boa system is unbeatable because you can adjust it as you go. loose for the park, tight for carving and somewhere in the middle for the big kickers. The articulated cuff is so comfy and the air liner works to keep the heel snug. DC is a slick company and does a lot of advertising so at first i wasn't sure, but these really deliver the goods. Not too stiff either. great boot.
I've had mine for 2 years now. It took a little bit to break them in, but these are the best boots out there. The dual-zone boas are great for quick cinching to go down the mountain and quick uncinching if you want some R&R riding up the gondola, lift, tram, or whatever. Stiff enough to ride hard, yet easy to walk in. The air bladder is a really trick thing to have; it's a heel cushion that cups your heel and keeps your foot in place for some great board feel and control.
Fit is true to size. Air pump works as stated but can be touchy - you have to squeeze the pump just right or it won't inflate. When fully inflated it makes the boot more uncomfortable and stiffer inside. I have a skinny ankle and wide flat forefoot. The heel slipped a little, but tolerable. The lace up is fast easy and worth the price. I like the stiffness of the shell, but think the comfort of the "DC Judge" is better suited for my foot. By the end of the day my ankles were a little chaffed from the slippage and lack of padding over this bony part of the foot. Overall I am happy with the boot and all the features.
