Pop, lock, and drop your favorite jibs on the DC PBJ Snowboard. This true twin features DC’s poppy Stratus core and disgustingly rad-tarded skate-inspired graphics by Andy Howell. A poppy wood core reinforced with carbon and Kevlar sounds like a dream come true. Add to that the PBJ’s ABS sidewalls and a lightweight bi-ax laminate for strength and reduced weight, and you’ll be popping, jibbing, bonking, and buttering for days. DC gave this twin tip jibber a 4400 sintered base, so it’s easy to maintain and more durable than Gumby. A skate-style topsheet gives you the style you want for the park and urban jibbing.
Bottom Line: The DC PBJ Snowboard—that’s the jam you want on your slice fer shure.
Was lucky enough to demo this deck late season for about a month, and it slays park and urban jibs.
Positives: DURABLE, light, poppy and the sintered base is really fast. It handled late season rock jibs like a champ and locked onto kinked rails easily.
Negatives: Too mooshy for landing big kickers or straight-lining fast. More than once the nose folded up blasting through chop or landing in the front seat.
It's happy in the park, and sad on steeps
This board is a blast. It is incredibly soft! You can butter the nose for DAYZZZZZZ. If you get into some deeper powder the nose will start to fold back on you. But for the park and groomers super fun!
I was looking for a board that I could start on and would last me for awhile once I got better. This was definitely the board...LOVE IT!! It's not too stiff so it's nice and forgiving to new riders and will tear up the park later on. Also, good for just running down the groomers!1
