Don't worry—DC didn't harm any ponies during the making of the Women's Shetland Hooded Sweater. A soft cotton-acrylic blend keeps you warm without the use of pony feathers. What? Ponies don't have feathers? Well at least one of us got an edumacation. The Shetland Sweater has professor-style elbow patches to flaunt your scholarly ways, and while your big brain is very beautiful, this DC hoody's scoop neck and slim fit show off your other assets, too.
Bottom Line: You'll love the DC Shetland Sweater almost as much as we love ponies. And that's a whole lot.
The fit is true to size and really comfy and the purple (Plumeria? i think.) colour is awesome! i also really like that the fabric has some stretch (and even though it says to lay flat to dry, it worked fine in the dryer, without shrinking) and the button detailing is really nice. the only disappointment was that the contrasting front pouch pocket is pretty small & useless and the fabric to make said pocket, elbow patches, and hood is like a plain cotton cloth that doesnt match the nice knit/stretch feel of the rest of the sweater and looks a little out-of-place and seems a bit cheap to me.
Otherwise, its great for a comfortable/casual but still slightly classed up look.
ps: the sleeves are nice and long, which is sometimes hard to find in closer fitting sweaters, so that was also a plus!
