Description of DAKINE Drafter Bike Pack - 700cu in:
Whether you’re heading out to bomb the mountain, or just for an afternoon on the trails, grab the Dakine Drafter Bik Pack. With a 70-ounce Nalgene reservoir, this pack keeps you hydrated while you climb, and the insulated reservoir pocket ensures you don’t take a sip of nasty warm water. Stash your pump, tools, and tubes in the multiple gear sleeves, and protect your MP3 and sunglasses with the two padded, fleece-lined pockets. The main compartment stores your extra layers, and the armor carry straps hold your shin guards while you make your way to the top of the mountain. The helmet carry stores your full-face or regular brain bucket when it’s not in use.
Bottom Line: Load up for your downhill or single track session.
This bag has got it all
-ventilated shoulder and back (works well! and has lower back ventilation thing (which the larger and small dakine packs don't have)) the ventilation system is steps above all other frame less packs (frame pack ex. marmot whirlwind (not in production anymore?) and deuter vent system on futura pack)
-leach free reservoir and high flow tube and bite valve
-space enough for all bike tools/gloves/energy bars/drinks and all bike protection but still has enough space if you want to carry a notebook or two for a commute
-removable waist strap that provides good support
-feels small, stable and doesn't heat up your back
-unused buckles are seamlessly integrated back into the pack
-mesh internal pockets allow viewing of items and ventilation for sweaty gloves
-eternal small pocket perfect for cell/ keys/ wallet
-helmet holder buckles cinch down on pack when or when not holding a helmet
separate compartment for hydration reservoir
Amazing product.
p.s. rasta and black chop shop are easily the best colors when seen in real life
I have done the research this is the best biking day pack ever.
