I've been looking for a bag like this for a long time! The 2 larger main compartments are great for separating dirties and cleans on shorter trips, or just keeping your stuff better organized. I used the bottom compartment to stash my ski boots on a recent trip. If you need more room, the zip-out divider is clutch. The small pocket (up near the handle) is great for socks, underwear, or smaller things.
The wheels on this thing are pretty bomb-proof so far, and the handle is nice and tall!!! I'm 6'4" and usually have to stoop down to roll a suitcase, but this bad boy rolls right along at a very comfortable height, even for someone taller than myself. As per the usual, Dakine's stuff is well made and well designed and this bag is certainly no exception! Very happy with the purchase!
Whether you are going on a ski trip or any type of vacation, and you are looking for a new bag, this one should definitely be one of your top choices. When going on a ski trip (5-7 days), I can fit my helmet, ski boots, ski pants, etc. plus some regular clothing; as you can see there is plenty of room in this suitcase. When going on a vacation (non-skiing), I can easily fit a week's worth of clothes. I highly recommend this bag, or its big brother the 5400 if you need even more space.
